Sex inquiry man released
Police investigating a serious sex assault in Halifax have released a 25-year-old man they were questioning about the attack.

The man had been held following a police appeal for information after a woman was assaulted in the King Cross area of the town in the early hours of Saturday.

The 35-year-old victim had been dropped off by a taxi and began walking the short distance to her home when she was approached by a man.

Detective Inspector Dick Nuttall, leading the investigation, has appealed for the attacker to give himself up.

He is described as white, aged between 20 and 25-years-old and around 5ft 10ins to 5ft 11ins tall.
