Body found on mudflats

Police are trying to identify a man whose body was found on tidal mudflats near Saltash.

Officers are hoping a forensic post-mortem examination will provide information about how the man died.

His body was found on tidal mudflats in the Kingsmill Lake area on Monday.

He is described as white about 5ft 8in tall and between 35 and 45 years old.

He has a moustache and is said to be of medium build.

His death is not being treated as suspicious.
