Police investigating the murder of a man who was shot outside a party in Liverpool say they have found a car believed to have been used by his killer.
Police say the Volvo, which was recovered at an undisclosed address in Cheshire, was probably used by the murderer of 25-year-old Eugene Ogunboro.
Mr Ogunboro was shot dead after leaving a party in Falkner Street in the early hours of Sunday, 16 November.
Detective Chief Inspector Paul Richardson, of Merseyside Police, said: "I am now appealing for anyone who may have seen the vehicle in the early hours of Sunday, 16 November, travelling to or from the Falkner Street area to come forward.
"I am particularly interested in speaking to any Hackney cab drivers who may have seen this car at the junction of Upper Parliament Street and Grove Street to contact the police."
The recovered car was an S40 model, dark green and had the registration number R128 ECA.
