Man stabbed in Gloucester
A Gloucester man was stabbed on his way home from a night out in the city.

The 36-year-old was approached by two men at about 2330 GMT on Saturday.

The pair demanded money, and stabbed the victim in the back when he refused.

They then ran off in the direction of Treadworth High Street.

Both offenders are described as white, slim and in their 20s. One was six feet tall and the other 5ft 6ins.

The victim was taken to hospital, but later released.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
