Seven sentenced after drugs bust
Drugs
The drugs were recovered after an undercover police operation
Seven people have been sentenced to a combined total of 37 years in prison for conspiracy to supply drugs in Swindon and Wiltshire.

Police seized 57kg of cannabis after a car was tracked to the car park of the Spotted Cow Pub, near Coate Water, last February.

It is thought the drugs could have been sold on the street for up to £250,000.

Among those sentenced was Vincent Gibbs, from Swindon, who pleaded guilty to supplying drugs at a previous hearing and was jailed for seven years.

Five of the those sentenced at Bristol Crown Court come from Swindon and two from London.

Wiltshire Police described the sentencing as a major victory in the battle against drugs.
