A 58-year-old man from Nottingham has admitted trying to kill his wife at a caravan park on the Lincolnshire coast.
Geoffrey Sadler pleaded guilty to attempted murder following an attack at Ingoldmells near Skegness on October this year.
Yvonne Sadler suffered stab wounds in the incident at the Haven Bank Caravan Park.
Mrs Sadler, also 58, later needed treatment for her injuries at Pilgrim Hospital in Boston.
Sadler, of Bentwell Avenue in Arnold, Nottingham, will be sentenced on 2 January.
Judge Michael Heath, sitting at Lincoln Crown Court, remanded him back into custody after adjourning the case for reports.
