An elderly man has been killed in a traffic collision in Weston-super-Mare.
Police say Frederick Granville Flower, 76, was crossing Summer Lane at 1130 GMT on Monday.
It is thought he was involved in a collision with a VW Caddy van.
Mr Flower was taken to Weston General Hospital by ambulance, but later died.
Police are appealing for anybody who witnessed the incident to contact them.
