Woman injured in handbag snatch
A woman is recovering after suffering a fractured collarbone when she was attacked in Jersey.

The 34-year-old woman had her handbag snatched as she walked home in the Don Road area at about 0100 GMT on Sunday.

The woman says she was attacked and pushed to the ground while walking towards Georgetown.

Her attacker made off with her handbag, which had a small amount of cash in it.

The woman chased her attacker, but lost sight of him on Mont Millais.

As well as the damage to her collarbone, the woman suffered bruising to a leg.

Police want to speak to a young couple in a car who stopped to talk to the victim, or anyone else who might have seen anything.
