Toilet block bodies identified

Two of the three suspected drug users found dead in a public toilet have been named.

Police have identified them as Jillian Good, 29, of Oxfordshire, but originally from Withernsea, East Yorkshire, and John Hardcastle, 29, of Withernsea.

A second man who also died has yet to be formally identified.

The bodies were found by a cleaner arriving for work at the toilet block in Withernsea on Saturday morning.

Firefighters had to be called to break into the single cubicle where the bodies were found.

Police said a post-mortem examination revealed no external injuries and Home Office pathologist Phil Lumb had concluded that drug use was the probable cause of death.

A spokeswoman for Humberside Police said that could not be confirmed until the results of toxicology tests were completed, which was expected to take a number of weeks.

But officers were concerned there may be a bad batch of drugs circulating in the East Yorkshire area.

The spokeswoman said: "We do believe now that it is drugs related.

"We are obviously still concerned about there being a bad batch of drugs in the area for us to have lost three people to it.

"They could actually be anywhere within the Humberside area or further afield."
