Woman found dead in house

The body of a woman has been found in a fire-damaged house in south Worcestershire.

The woman's body was discovered near the front door of a house in Tewkesbury Road, Eckington, in south Worcestershire just before 1500 GMT on Sunday.

West Mercia Police said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.

A spokesman said the woman, who has not been named, was last seen alive at about 0930 GMT on Saturday.

They are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
