Guernsey woos younger visitors
Guernsey is being marketed to a younger generation of tourists.

The Guernsey Tourist Board, in partnership with its Guernsey-based web agency Submarine, has developed a new website.

It allows access to the official tourism sites of all the Channel Islands.

The site is available in four different languages.

Neil Inder of Submarine says the idea is to tap into the younger market through the web.

He said: "The main tourism boards are now marketed under one brand.

"The idea is to go to the European countries with joint literature that says 'This is where we are' and to offer one site where all the five islands can sit on."
