Clubbing student dies after collapse
Anna Greenwood
Ms Greenwood had recently arrived home for the Christmas holidays
A 21-year-old student has died after collapsing on a dance floor while on a night out with friends.

Anna Greenwood, from Fawley in Hampshire, was dancing with friends at Jumpin' Jaks nightclub in the Leisureworld complex in Southampton when she collapsed.

Paramedics treated her at the scene before taking her to Southampton General Hospital where she died later on Sunday morning.

A post mortem examination failed to find the cause of death and results of further tests have been carried out.

Ms Greenwood was a student at Cardiff University who was home on Christmas break.

Detective Inspector Nigel Oliver said: "This is a very tragic incident, and because of the sudden and unexpected nature of the death, we need to establish if anyone saw Anna during the evening and can assist with any information."
