Warning after M'way bridge attack
Mr Little's windscreen
Michael Little suffered heart failure after a brick hit him in the chest
Police have issued a warning about people standing on motorway bridges, after another lorry driver revealed his cab had been damaged by a falling object on the M3.

In March, lorry driver Michael Little died after a brick came through the window of his cab and struck him on the chest on the same motorway.

In the latest incident, a transit van was left with a six-inch hole in its roof after a large object was thrown from a bridge.

The driver looked into his mirror and saw two people silhouetted on the bridge, between junctions five and four on the M3 in Hampshire.

The van was travelling northbound at around 65mph on Friday 7 November when it was hit.

The 35-year-old driver from Essex was unhurt but shocked.

A man has been charged with the murder of Michael Little, who suffered heart failure after the brick struck him on the chest near Camberley, Surrey.

Hampshire Police warn that anyone dropping or throwing objects onto vehicles is committing a very serious offence which could cause serious injury or death.
