Man robbed in Gloucester

A man was robbed at the weekend in Gloucester.

The 29-year-old victim was walking along India Road at 1900 GMT on Sunday when he was approached by a youth on a bike.

He asked to borrow some money or the victim's phone before threatening him and demanding his wallet and mobile phone.

The offender then cycled off down India Road towards Barton Street.

He is described as of black or mixed race and around 16 years of age.

He was between 5 ft 9 ins to six feet tall, had a short goatee beard and was wearing a dark baseball cap and hooded top.

He was also wearing dark tracksuit bottoms with white markings and dark trainers and was riding a light coloured mountain bike.
