Body found in guest house

Two men are being questioned by police following the discovery of a man's body at a guest house in Birmingham.

West Midlands Police said the man's body was discovered in the early hours of Monday.

Officers had been called to the Yardley Guest House in Church Road, Yardley, at about 0430 GMT.

They found the body of a 34-year-old man in one of the rooms.

A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police confirmed that two men are being questioned in connection with the death which they are treating as suspicious.
