A 23-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Peterborough on Sunday night.
The attack happened in Eyrescroft in the Bretton area of the city at about 1800 GMT when a 24-year-old man was stabbed in the chest.
The man was taken to Peterborough District Hospital, but was transferred to Papworth Hospital in Cambridge.
His condition is described as stable.
The woman was arrested at Peterborough District Hospital at 1820 GMT on suspicion of attempted murder.
