Man injured by ambulance
A pedestrian has been taken to hospital with serious leg injuries following a collision with an ambulance in Sheffield.

Police say the vehicle was responding to an emergency call on Saville Street when the accident happened on Sunday.

The collision occurred on The Wicker at the junction of Spittal Hill as the ambulance was driving out of the city.

The 29-year-old man, from Sheffield, was taken to the city's Northern General Hospital with serious leg injuries where he was kept in for treatment.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident, which happened at about 0335 GMT.
