Funeral of carjack victim

June Everitt was trying to stop a car thief
The funeral takes place on Monday of a woman who was run over as she tried to stop a carjacker.

June Everitt, 52, from Luton in Bedfordshire was run down by a thief who took her car as she unloaded shopping close to her home in Ridgeway Road in the town on Thursday, 25 July.

Mrs Everitt suffered multiple injuries and died in hospital.

Her black Renault Megane was recovered on 14 July two miles from her home.

Manny Davis, 30, of Artisan Crescent, St Albans, has been charged with her murder.
