A man is in hospital with serious head injuries after an attack in Havant.
The assault happened at about 1700 BST on Sunday next to the shopping precinct in Somborne Drive, Leigh Park.
A 38-year-old man from Havant has been arrested and is assisting police with their inquiries.
Detectives say they are very keen to hear from witnesses or anyone who saw a silver BMW in the area at the time.
