Man charged over fan's death
A man has been charged murder after an Aberdeenshire football fan was knocked down and killed on his way to Scotland's game against Holland at Hampden on Saturday.

The victim, named as Liam Alexander Henderson, 23, of Buchan Drive, Newmachar, died following a hit-and-run accident in Toryglen, Glasgow, on Saturday.

27-year-old Brian Venuti from Toryglen is alleged to have deliberately driven at Liam Henderson before the match.

He has also been charged with the attempted murder of Robert Gaudie, 35, from Aberdeen during the same incident.

Venuti made no plea or declaration at Glasgow Sheriff Court and was remanded in custody until next week.
