Police seize fake CDs
Undercover police officers have arrested four people for selling fake CDs and DVDs at a car boot sale in Leicestershire.

The arrests were part of Operation Catch 'Em, a county-wide initiative to combat burglary and the sale of stolen goods.

Two of the people arrested are being held in custody at Melton Mowbray police station for further questioning.

Leicestershire Police seized about 1,500 CDs and DVDs during the operation at a car boot sale in Melton Mowbray.

The fake CDs and DVDs have a street value of £7,500.

Sergeant Louise Cordiner said the operation was "extremely successful", adding that Trading Standards officers would be carrying the cases forward.

As part of the operation, police are giving advice to shoppers to stop them being tempted by stolen goods.
