The Jade Slack centre will be open two nights a week

A new youth centre inspired by the death of the UK's youngest ever ecstasy victim, Jade Slack, was opening in her home village on Monday.
Jade Slack, 10, died in July 2002 after taking five ecstasy tablets she found at a house where she was staying in Galgate, near Lancaster.
Villagers have set up the youth centre and hope it will improve the image of the Galgate area, following Jade's death and subsequent trial of Wayne Wood and Rebecca Hodgson.
Both were cleared of manslaughter, but Wood was convicted of drug dealing.
The new centre - which will be open two nights a week - will be at a revamped building in the village's cricket club.
Organisers have said the death of Jade highlighted the need for a safe place where children could go in the village.
