Crash girl loses fight for life
A teenage girl has died in hospital after she was involved in an accident with a car in Lancashire.

Rachel Priestley, 15, was taken to Royal Preston Hospital after she was struck by the vehicle in Whittle-le-Woods, near Preston.

Lancashire Police said she had just got off a double decker bus on the A6 when the incident happened.

Rachel, who was from Astley Village, died in hospital on Saturday.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash, which happened at about 2208 GMT on Friday, to come forward.
