Man arrested in murder inquiry

A murder inquiry has begun in Norwich after the body of a man was found on Saturday night.

Police and ambulance crews were called to an address in Magpie Road in the city just before 2200 GMT.

The found the dead man in his 20s. He had been stabbed.

A 39-year-old man was later arrested in connection with the incident.

He is being questioned by detectives.

An incident room has been set up at Bethel Street Police Station.

Officers want to speak to anyone who was in the Magpie Road, Magdalen Street area of the city between 2100 and 2200 GMT on Saturday.
