Man charged with toddler death

A 32-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of a two-year-old Bradford girl in hospital.

A 22-year-old woman has been charged with child neglect.

The toddler has been named by West Yorkshire Police as Iqra Bibi.

She was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary on Thursday after officers were called to an address in Undercliffe Street.

She was later transferred to Leeds General Infirmary, where she died on Saturday morning.

The two will appear before Bradford magistrates on Monday.
