Six men have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to kidnap after armed police raided properties in Berkshire.
Houses in Pevensey Road, Newchurch Road, Teesdale Road and Lismore Park in Slough, were searched after police carried out early morning raids on Friday.
An address in Marescroft Road was also searched by uniformed officers.
Officers also seized a handgun and two swords from the Pevensey Road address.
The six men, aged between 16 and 25, were arrested in connection with an incident in Pevensey Road, on Tuesday.
They are now in police custody at Slough police station and are due to be questioned.
A seventh man was later arrested at Slough police station.
Superintendent Brian Langston, area commander for the Slough area said: "Today's raids are part of an ongoing operation to tackle the criminal use of firearms in Slough and disrupt criminal activity."
Police are appealing for anyone with information on illegally held firearms or any other criminal activity to contact them in confidence.
