Teenager victim of 'drug rape'
A teenager was raped after being drugged during a night out with friends in Cambridge.

The 16-year-old girl told Cambridgeshire Police she was offered a drink from an open can of lager by a man she had met at Po Na Na's nightclub, then taken to a house and raped.

Officers said on Friday that the girl had left the club before drinking from the can, but believed some of the people who were out on Friday 7 November may be able to identify the man.

He was described as black, about 5 ft 8 in tall with a thin to medium build, a shaved head and was wearing a dark green jumper and baggy trousers.

Offered a drink

Detective Sergeant Chris Wilson said the man had been with two friends when they approached the teenager in one of the bars at the club.

He said the girl had danced with her attacker - who may be known by the nickname of "Super" - before leaving the club at some time between 2230 GMT on the Friday and 0030 GMT on Saturday.

Confused and disorientated

Mr Wilson said the girl could then remember walking over Victoria Bridge onto Mitchams Corner and then entering a white terraced house where she said she was raped.

"Unfortunately she has no idea what time it was and does not remember how she got home," Mr Wilson added.

"The girl and her family have been left distraught by what has happened.

"She was left confused and disorientated and still has difficulty recalling the incident in full".

One of the other men who approached the girl in the nightclub was described as white, about six feet tall and had a thin build, spiky hair and silver coloured glasses.
