E-fit released of girl's attacker
E-fit of man suspected of Chatsworth Drive shooting
Police believe the man is not from Merseyside
Police in Liverpool have released a drawing of a man they think shot a six-year-old girl and two other members of her family at their home.

The attack, which happened at about 2130 GMT on 2 November in Chatsworth Drive, Edge Hill, has been linked to a murder three years earlier.

Detectives said the man they wanted to question did not come from the Merseyside area.

Six-year-old Makada Weaver, her 19-year-old brother and mother, aged 35, have since been released from hospital where they received treatment for injuries suffered in the attack.

The family's pet dog was also shot dead during the incident.

The girl suffered chest and arm injuries
Makada was shot after she answered the door to the gunman, who asked her where her brother, Adrian, was before pulling out a handgun and shooting him in the thigh.

When the family's bull mastiff bit the gunman, the offender shot the dog dead.

He then fired three or four shots at Makada's mother, Valerie, hitting her three times in the lower body.

One bullet grazed the young girl's chest, entering and exiting through her right arm.

Police believe the shooting may be linked to the killing of Clay Benjamin in the city over three years ago.

Valerie's brother, Eugene Weaver, was acquitted of Mr Benjamin's murder.

The wanted man is described as black, 6ft tall, of slim to medium build with crooked teeth.
