Assault suspect picture released
e-fit of suspect
Police hope people nearby will recognise the picture.
Police in Worksop have released an electronic picture of a man who they want to question in connection with a sexual assault on a woman.

On Friday police will be returning to the scene of the attack one week on and also asking pub goers for their help in catching the attacker.

The 42-year-old woman was walking home at 2355 GMT on 7 November when she was dragged behind the Hannah Park View Flats and attacked.

Detectives say the victim had taken a route along Watson Street, on to Potter Street, up Victoria Road, along Newgate Street and then on to Netherton Road.

Local knowledge

Police want to speak to anyone who may have seen the woman - and have released a detailed description of the attacker.

He is described as white, 5 ft 6 in to 5 ft 8 in tall, aged around 22 and of a thin build.

He was wearing pale, possibly cream clothing and a cream coloured baseball cap without a logo.

Detectives are also asking local people if they know anyone of that description who has been acting out of character.
