Two men carry out sex attack

Two men subjected a woman in her 50s to a serious sexual assault, it has emerged.

Police said the attack happened in the Rotherham Road and Chesholme Road area of Coventry between 0100 GMT and 0230 GMT on Sunday.

The men made off on foot towards Beake Avenue after the assault.

The offenders are both white men described as between 19 and 35-years-old with local accents.

One of the men was about 5ft 6in and wore white trainers with a dash on them.

The other man is thought to be taller.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
