Soldiers in double crash
A police car protecting the scene of a road accident in Wiltshire was hit by another vehicle which then sped off.

Two soldiers from the Larkhill barracks in Wiltshire were injured when their car hit a parked van in Amesbury just after midnight on Thursday.

Just over an hour later, a patrol car attending the incident was struck by another car which failed to stop.

Officers gave chase to Bulford and arrested three other soldiers who gave positive breath tests.
