Plans to build luxury apartments on Liverpool's Princes Dock have been submitted to Liverpool City Council.

The Mersey Docks and Harbour Company wants to build an £18m development including 162 apartments in two 10 and 20-storeys towers.

The site will also include three hotels, shops and a multi-storey car park.

The apartments have been designed by Sir Terence Conran's award-winning architecture firm Conran & Partners.

If approved, the development will be completed within two years.
