The car which hit Miss Cooper was found burnt out
Three men have been charged in connection with the death of a woman in Nottingham.

Emily Cooper, 32, died after being hit by a car on 23 November 2002 just minutes after being dropped off by her father.

The vehicle sped off and was later found abandoned and burnt out in the Lambley area.

The police have charged Christopher McKenzie, Tyrone Miller and Kieran Farrell, all 19 and from Nottingham, with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

A special squad of officers who dealt with hit and run crimes helped investigate the crime.

A fourth person is still being sought in connection with the crime.

The three men will appear in court in December and January.
