Boy dies after house fire
A two-year-old boy who was injured in a house fire in Lincoln at the weekend has died in hospital.

Fire crews were called to the end-terraced house in Wragby Road in the early hours of Saturday morning after neighbours reported hearing screams.

The toddler, who has not been named, was trapped along with his parents in an upstairs bedroom.

He died in hospital in Sheffield, where his mother was also being treated.

The fire is thought to have been started by a discarded cigarette.
