Father's last steps retraced
The reconstruction
Mr Hancock was beaten by two men after a night out
Police have filmed a reconstruction of the last minutes of a man who died after being beaten up in front of his girlfriend.

Father-of-two Jonathan Hancock was assaulted as he and his girlfriend got out of a cab near their Portsmouth home shortly after 2200 BST on Friday, 15 August.

It is believed the 29-year-old was attacked by two men who later ran off from the scene of the incident in St Ronan's Road, Southsea, leaving him lying unconscious.

Mr Hancock died six days later at Southampton General Hospital.

Cash reward

The reconstruction was held in order to refresh the appeal for anyone who may have information to come forward.

A £5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest has already been offered by the Crimestoppers Trust.

Two people - a 46-year-old man from Hounslow in London and a 37-year-old woman from Havant, Hampshire - were arrested shortly after the incident.

The pair were bailed until 9 December while police continue to make further inquiries.
