Appeal to owner of camera
Developed photo
If anyone recognises the photo they are asked to contact police
Police are trying to find the owner of a camera they recovered during an investigation.

They have released a picture from a film which was inside the camera and they had developed and hope someone will recognise it.

It follows an investigation into a series of burglaries in North Tyneside which led officers to a second-hand shop in Byker.

Detectives recovered a silver Minolta Vectis 300 camera which had been sold to the shop in October.

A Northumbria Police spokesman said: "Officers developed the film which was an APS-type film and it revealed a picture of a man possibly on holiday.

"Another shows a man and a woman at what looks like a celebration or birthday party."

Anyone who knows who the camera belongs to or recognises the picture is asked to contact police.

Two people were arrested in connection with the investigation. A man has been charged with burglary and a woman has been charged with handling stolen goods.
