Hunt for race attack men
A kebab van worker was beaten with a spanner by two men during an unprovoked racist attack, say police.

The attackers racially abused the kebab van owner during a row in Lower Northam Road, Hedge End, Hampshire, at about 1520 GMT on Sunday.

Officers say the pair then turned on his assistant hitting him in the chest, arms and stomach after he tried to get them to leave the area.

A window of the kebab van was also smashed during the incident.

The men fled when the van owner intervened taking the keys to his car which was parked nearby.

Both were white, aged 20 to 28. One had ginger hair and a beard, the other had black hair.

Police are appealing for information.
