A Czech lorry driver has been arrested after a fatal crash on the M5 which closed the motorway for several hours.
His vehicle collided with a car on the northbound carriageway near junction 10 at Cheltenham, on Monday.
The 73-year-old car driver was killed and his passenger, a woman aged 70, was injured.
A 26-year-old trucker was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and was later released on police.
The diverted traffic caused gridlock on some of the county's roads.
