Fans of the Black Eyed Peas have the chance of seeing the band for free at a Top of the Pops recording.
The band will record their TOTP set at BBC Television Centre in London on 12 November between 1500-1830 GMT.
Black Eyed Peas will play two songs from their current album, before recording Where Is the Love for a Christmas special.
Guests must be over 16, and tickets must be applied for through BBC Studio Audiences on 0207 8576 1225 (office hours).
Chef Oliver gets volunteer award
TV chef Jamie Oliver is adding to his recent MBE with an honorary award to recognise his work with young people.
Oliver has been named the honorary Volunteer of the Year - a title supported by Department of Education - for his work at his restaurant Fifteen.
The chef took 15 disadvantaged youths and gave them the opportunity to train and work in his restaurant.
The tough process was filmed for a TV series, sometimes showing Oliver losing his patience with uncommitted staff.
Art show at British Library
The British Library is trying a novel way of getting more people through its doors - by holding art exhibitions.
It will begin on Friday by staging the largest collection of contemporary, post-cultural revolution Chinese art ever staged in Europe.
The work of more than 90 artists working in woodblock prints will be shown at the venue at St Pancras, north London.
The British Library holds the earliest known printed document, the Diamond Sutra, which dates from eighth century China.
Five more to sue over stage fall
Another five people are planning to a sue a theatre following the collapse of a stage during a Sound of Music sing-a-long show.
More than 30 people - many dressed as nuns - fell into the orchestra pit during a performance at Birmingham's Alexandra Theatre.
Law firm Irwin Mitchell said eight people were now suing the theatre, and more were expected to follow suit.
The Health and Safety Executive has still to report on the incident.
Robbie surprises street children
Pop star Robbie Williams has paid a visit to Russian street children at a shelter in the capital Moscow.
The singer took time out from his latest European tour in his role as special representative for UNICEF.
He also saw children living rough on the city's streets in the freezing Russian winter.
"It's a real eye-opener seeing how kids like this have to live," said Williams, and added he was "privileged" to spend time with the children.
Costner honoured at Palm Springs
Hollywood star Kevin Costner is to be honoured for his skills as a director at the Palm Springs festival, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Costner, well-known for performing in front of the camera, will win the career achievement award at the US gala which takes place in January.
"This is an unexpected honour," said the Dances With Wolves star, who most recently appeared in Open Range.
British director Anthony Minghella is also in line for a special award.
