Gang steal from elderly pair
Three men forced their way into an elderly couple's Northampton home to steal from them.

The 85-year-old woman answered the doorbell at the couple's home in Towcester Road on Monday evening.

The men then pushed past her and walked into the living room where her elderly husband, who is disabled, was sitting.

He was restrained by one of the gang while a second demanded money.

The man then searched the victim and took cash.

A police spokesman said the elderly man was treated at the scene but did not need hospital treatment. His wife was not hurt.

The aggravated burglary has left both of them very shocked.

The men are described as white and one is believed to be about 40 years old.
