New appeal over beach body
Artist's impression of dead man
The coroner's office has released an artist's impression of the man
A renewed appeal has been made to help discover the identity of a man found dead off the Dorset coast a year ago.

His body was pulled from the sea off Chesil Beach near Weymouth on 3 November 2002.

Coroners have released an artist's impression of the man, who was probably from South East Asia.

He was between 30 and 50 years old, well built, with dark hair and a bald crown.

When he was alive he may have walked with a stoop or had a hunchback, as tests showed he suffered from a curved spine.

The man also had a distinctive half-inch scar by his top lip and may have had a broken nose.

Police and West Dorset Coroner's Office are keen to speak to anyone who may have known him or remember seeing him.
