Taunton's town centre could face a revamp
Residents of a Somerset town are being invited to have their say on the next 25 years of its development.

The public consultation on Taunton's future runs from 14 to 22 November at the Brewhouse Theatre.

Organisers say it will provide locals with an opportunity to see draft regeneration plans for the town centre.

Geraint Hughes, from the company behind the plans, said: "Since being appointed, we've been busy collating information and talking to a variety of people.

"We have identified what we think are the town's strengths and weaknesses and have recommended where the main opportunities for development lie.

"Our proposals build on the consultation so far and should be of interest to everyone who lives, works, studies or shops in Taunton.

"We'd like to invite people to the exhibition to have their say and influence the final report."
