Police probe into fatal fire
Police believe a fire which claimed the life of a Bedfordshire woman may have been started deliberately.

The 53-year-old woman, who has not been named, died in a fire at Old Warden Park, south-east of Bedford, on Friday morning.

A post-mortem examination was carried out on Friday and concluded she had died from smoke inhalation.

On Saturday Bedfordshire Police said officers were investigating the death as they believed the fire was "suspicious".

They expected to be able to formally identify the victim on Monday.
