Question time on London's future
Londoners were invited on Saturday to have their say about the future of the city.

Ken Livingstone held a special conference where people living and working in London could go to City Hall and voice their concerns.

Issues like housing, childcare and transport were on the agenda.

At the conference the London Food Commission, which aims to reduce London's dependency on imported food, was also launched.

Deputy mayor and Green Party member Jenny Jones, who will chair the commission, said it will lobby to make fresh food more widely available.

"The choices we make as consumers of food have huge environmental, social and economic implications.

"We need a sustainable food policy for London that is good for the environment, good for business and ensures access to fresh healthy food for all Londoners."
