Man injured in chainsaw accident
A man has been badly injured after an industrial accident with a chainsaw in Devon.

The man, who is a tree surgeon, was 40 feet (12 metres) up a tree at Woodbury, near Exeter, when he cut his upper arm on Friday afternoon.

A work colleague was able to climb the tree and bring him down.

He was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, where his injuries were described as not life threatening.

All three emergency services attended the incident.

Police have not released the name of the man or the company he was working for.

The Health and Safety Executive is investigating the accident.
