A Northern Ireland man is being questioned after several million smuggled cigarettes were seized in the Republic of Ireland.
Detectives said they believed the haul, found in County Louth on Friday, was organised by the Real IRA.
The cigarettes were found hidden in rolls of carpet when a lorry was searched on the Dundalk to Armagh road.
A man in his 20s from the province is being questioned by police and customs officers in Dundalk.
