Reservoirs have been hit by one of the driest years on record

The source of Nottinghamshire's tap water is about to change.
It traditionally comes from the Derwent Valley in north Derbyshire, but there has been so little rainfall this summer, stocks are running low.
Severn Trent Water has now decided to blend in reserves from elsewhere.
The result will be slightly harder water with a subtly different taste but officials say most people should not notice the change.
River system
Steve Hodsgon from Severn Trent admitted they are struggling because of the severe lack of rain this year
He said: "This is the period we would normally be expecting our reservoirs to be refilling and they are not right now.
"What we need to do is make the most of any rain we get, like that which we had at the end of last week which was very welcome.
"We are going to reduce the amount of water we take from reservoirs in the upper Derwent Valley and replacing it with water from lower down the river system.
"This will come from the sites at Carsington and Ogston."
