Appeal over hit and run
Police are appealing for witnesses to a hit-and-run in Berkshire.

The accident happened in Barkham Ride near the junction with Commonfield Lane, near Wokingham, on 9 November.

Detectives are trying to trace a car with a trailer which failed to stop after it was in collision with a moped.

The moped rider was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital but was released later after receiving treatment for minor injuries.

While the make of the car is unknown, it was pulling a trailer, on which was a red, classic Jaguar E-type.

Police believe this car is distinctive enough for people to remember and are urging those who may have seen the car and trailer ¿ or who know who the driver may be ¿ to come forward.
