Two teenagers have admitted to the killing of a Barnsley milkman Ronnie Kettridge.

Jamie Lee Osbourne, 18, of Abbeydale Road, Sheffield, pleaded guilty to murder.

And a 15-year-old girl, who cannot be named, admitted the manslaughter of the 56-year-old when they appeared at Sheffield Crown Court on Thursday.

Mr Kettridge was found bleeding to death on the Prince of Wales Road in the Manor area of Sheffield by a passing taxi driver in the early hours of 5 April.

The newly-married milkman of Worsborough Road, Birdwell, had been stabbed repeatedly while on his way to work.

The case has been adjourned for pre-sentence reports on Osbourne and the girl.

The two defendants left Sheffield after the killing and were arrested on Sunday 20 April in Leeds.
