A 23-year-old man has been arrested after a high speed car and helicopter chase through two counties.
Police used a stinger device to stop the vehicle at about 1210 GMT on Thursday in Leominster, Herefordshire.
West Mercia Police said the car chase started 40 minutes earlier and 50 miles away in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
Three force cars and a helicopter followed the car, reaching speeds of up to 80 mph.
The man was charged with driving while disqualified, failing to stop for police and driving with excess alcohol.
He has been bailed to appear before magistrates in Hereford on 14 November.
Inspector Richard Horder, said: "The pursuit was conducted with an appropriate level of restraint and sensitivity to other road users.
"All officers involved showed quick thinking, restraint and professionalism, which resulted in the arrest."
